I have had a lovely time recently, creating some photographic greetings cards & photo box frames for the lovely people at our local garden centre, Abi & Tom’s.
Tom & Abi already have an established & successful nursery & garden centre at Halecat, & have brought their expertise & creativity to Grange where they are breathing new life into the garden centre here. There are new plants, gorgeous pots & now a fabulous little shop selling all kinds of goodies including some beautifully coloured scandi-inspired birdhouses. I’m very proud that they’ve chosen my cards & prints to be included in their collection.
I had the pleasure of going over there one early evening last week to see Tom, & for the first time this season I felt imbued with the Christmas spirit. It was quite magical. There were lots of twinkling lights along the pathways & the most beautiful & enormous woven wooden wreath adorning the side of the building – an absolute piece of art!
Go check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
Head over to their Twitter for a stunning photo of their Christmas wreath and a video of their illuminated walkway.
On another note, this week I took delivery of a huge photograph of some bright & cheerful chive flowers that won’t fit where it was meant to go, but might work well in a garden centre setting. Since it needs a home I thought I might offer it to Tom & Abi to decorate one of their walls if they have the space. Keeping my fingers crossed.
